Dear students:

We hope that these basic notions about the European Union have helped you to understand its importance in today's world in all senses: the great work it does, the relevance of its institutions, the profound changes through which all of its states underwent, the consolidation of peace among them, and so many other matters.

European Union is in a privileged position to continue working for a better world and to consolidate an authentic union between people, protecting their human rights under the same conditions.

It is everyone's responsibility to collaborate in this and to try to make that the direction that UE takes in the future continues deepening as much in the Union as in the protection of the diversity of its people.

In a future MOOC course we will try to analyze the factors that can put these objectives at risk. All together will provide ideas to avoid that the unconsciousness or irresponsibility of a few can endanger the achievements that we have fulfilled with so much effort among all.
