The Institutional mechanism of the European Union is unique, very different from the one of the Member States and even more so from those of the International Organizations.

In order to know who decides on European issues, it is necessary to know that seven different Institutions share the competences of the European Union, with the aim of guaranteeing that absolutely all interests, from different places, from different political options, from different social classes, are respected and protected.
